Transformers

Transformer general maintenance: SC has executed general overhauling of transformers with capacities up to 145 MVA. This included test and inspection of the protection devices following international norms and replacements whenever necessary.
On special request, SC has manufactured special transformers, such as excitation and current transformers and performed all tests as required by international norms. The repair of a 14.5 MVA transformer required the manufacture of windings, coolers and tank, dressing of the magnetic core, and the replacement, calibration and testing of all devices
